  • Adult Private Swimming Lessons

    Individual and small group lessons to help adults learn to swim or refine their skills. Sessions are 45 minutes long. Aquatic programs are located at the Mankato East High School Pool. Please park in the far east parking lot, next to Thomas Park, and enter the building through Door 9, located on the northeast side of the building.
  • Masters Swimming Program

    Ages 18 and Up, Under 18 must be accompanied by adult Payment options - $40 monthly (Automatic payment on the 1st of each month of the session) $5 drop-in fee (Processed at the pool. Cash, credit, or check). Card payments can be saved to make future drop-in payments without a physical card. Designed swim workouts, not swimming lessons. Lanes are divided by ability, and workouts are scaled to each lane. Ability is determined by 100 yd pace.   • Water Aerobics, Lap Swim, and Water Walking

    Ages 18 and Up, Under 18 must be accompanied by adult Classes are led by an experienced instructor, taking into consideration participants’ individual needs. All water aerobics workouts are at your own pace. No swimming ability is required for Water Aerobics. Shallow and deep water is available. Expectant mothers welcome!   • Water Safety Instructor ® Course

    Earn your certification to teach American Red Cross swimming and water safety, and gain the skills needed to teach courses and make presentations to swimmers of every age and ability. Through our Aquatic Instructor Training program, you can help recreational swimmers meet their goals, refine their skills and stay safe in, on, and around water. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) ® course trains instructor candidates to teach all of the courses presented in the Swimming and Water Safety program to all age groups; learn-to-swim courses including Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-6, Adult Swim, and private swimming lessons. This certification is the gold standard and provides the most comprehensive training for swim instructors. Pre-requisites Front crawl - 25 yds Back crawl - 25 yds Breaststroke - 25 yds Elementary backstroke - 25 yds Sidestroke - 25 yds Butterfly - 15 yds Maintain position on back for 1 minute in deep water Tread water for 1 minute This is a blended learning course. Students will do online work on their own and work on in-water and class management skills during in-person sessions.
