    Learn the art of hand tinting black and white photographs using soft pastels chalk. You will receive a black and white photo and work with soft pastels to add your own flavor and imagination to bringing the photo to life, producing a frameable work of art. The instructor will provide directions, technique hints, and advice to students to complete their project.

  • Leather Stamping - Bracelets

    This course introduces students to the joy of working with leather. Leather stamping dies are used to put designs, letters and pictures on leather items. Tools and supplies are provided and the students take home practice pieces, a picture, and a bracelet that can be further decorated with markers or paint once the item dries.

  • Polymer Clay Workshop

    This course is an open polymer clay workshop, where participants make whatever they feel inspired to create. The class consists of students creating one or more pieces of polymer clay art, which are baked in class. After the pieces cool, students will be able to glaze them (if they want, it's not a necessity, just an aesthetic preference), and we will then affix them to keychains, necklace chains, or just leave them as cute little shelf sculptures.

March 12 Ink Tiles - Create a blend of fun colors and watch them merge and marble together on a ceramic tile. The tile can be used as a coaster or wall art! March 19 Banking 101 - Learn banking basics with a local banking professional! April 2 Happy Marine Animals - Create your own underwater world with pre-printed aquatic animals and plants. Color your chosen animals and plants and attach them to a tag board to create your own underwater environment! April 9 Bird Feeders - Help welcome the birds after winter with two types of bird feeders - a pinecone and peanut butter + a string of cereal. April 16 Budgeting - Learn the basics of creating and following a budget with a local banking professional! April 23 Spring Animal Blocks - Create a bunny and chick out of blocks and other craft items.   • Summer Poetry Book

    Students will learn how to write a Haiku poem and make their own poetry book out of construction paper and other craft materials. By the end of the session, students will take home a poetry book that they can continue to write in.
