This class will teach the embroidery basics: choosing fabric and stretching it in a hoop, separating floss into fewer strands, threading a needle, transferring patterns to fabric, and learning a few stitches. Participants will be given a hoop, fabric, a needle, several colors of floss, and instruction sheets. At the end of the first class, you'll have the beginnings of a project that you can continue contributing to on your own. Then bring back your project for the second class, in order to learn several more complicated stitches!
