    Qoya Adults Qoya is a wellness embodiment movement practice which blends music, ritual and community connection with gentle yoga, dance, sensual movement and a somatic focus to turn your attention inward to a place of listening awareness, of your internal physical sensations, perceptions and experiences of the body. Qoya is an active portal through which your true inner essence can be accessed. By following the physical sensation of truth in your body, you are guided and empowered back to feeling more like yourself. The experience is designed for those identifying as women of all backgrounds but is open to all. You can expect music, guided movement, respectful space, optional sharing, inspiration, kindness, reflection, FUN and to leave feeling more empowered and enlivened than when you began. No prior movement experience is needed and there are no levels. Classes are typically 90 minutes long. Wear clothes that are easy to move in, bring water to drink and an open heart! YOU CAN ALWAYS ARRIVE LATE AND LEAVE EARLY.

    Qoya Seniors Qoya for Seniors is an opportunity for seniors to move in a relational and supportive setting with others. Through Qoya for Seniors, you have an invitation to know how to connect to your true self and dance with awareness of the pulse of life. Empowering and balancing through simple techniques that you can use at anytime like shaking, yoga poses, dance and meditation. The experience is designed for those identifying as women of all backgrounds but is open to all. Wear clothes that are easy to move in, bring water to drink and an open heart!
  • Scat, Tracks & Fins: Wildlife & Fisheries Techniques

    The focus of this course is to introduce students to a wide variety of easy to understand techniques used to conduct fish & wildlife research and management. While learning the techniques we will also learn how to identify native birds and fish of Minnesota!
  • Summer Poetry Book

    Students will learn how to write a Haiku poem and make their own poetry book out of construction paper and other craft materials. By the end of the session, students will take home a poetry book that they can continue to write in.
  • Water Aerobics, Lap Swim, and Water Walking

    Ages 18 and Up, Under 18 must be accompanied by adult Classes are led by an experienced instructor, taking into consideration participants’ individual needs. All water aerobics workouts are at your own pace. No swimming ability is required for Water Aerobics. Shallow and deep water is available. Expectant mothers welcome! Aquatic programs are located at the Mankato East High School Pool. Please park in the far east parking lot, next to Thomas Park, and enter the building through Door 9, located on the northeast side of the building.
