ACES School Age Child Care

Important Message:

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, ACES has made the decision to postpone 2020-2021 school year registration until further notice.

MAPS Emergency Child Care & ACES Wraparound Child Care

Starting Tuesday, March 31, child care options will change. Families that need child care per employment guidelines provided by the State of Minnesota will have the option to sign their child(ren) up for MAPS Emergency Care and ACES; both will be held at Franklin and Monroe Elementary schools. Care is available for children grades K-5. For more detail, see below, then click here to register!

MAPS Emergency Care (7:30am-3:30pm)

MAPS Emergency Care will continue to operate from 7:30am-3:30pm at Monroe and Franklin Elementaries. MAPS Emergency Care is free for families that qualify. Families that need only MAPS Emergency Care will not be charged and will be eligible for transportation if needed.

MAPS Emergency Care + ACES Wraparound Care (6:30am-6:00pm)

ACES will be providing wraparound care outside of MAPS Emergency Care hours. ACES Wraparound Care will operate from 6:30am-7:30am and 3:30pm-6:00pm. Families that utilize ACES Wraparound Care will be charged a flat rate of $18 per child, per day. Families will be responsible for transportation to and from ACES.

All families will be required to complete a new registration for MAPS Emergency Care and ACES Wraparound Care through Eleyo, an online registration system. Families who have already received care from either program, will be contacted directly yet this week.

Once registration is complete and approved, all families will receive notification from the ACES Office. At that time, the ACES Office will let families know when their care date can begin.

Screening changes

Based on new guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health, new screening protocols will go into effect at MAPS Emergency Care and ACES Wraparound Care. Beginning immediately, children will have their temperature taken and a brief health survey will also be administered daily. This helps ensure everyone's health and safety.
