Parent and Child Aquatics A class for children ages 6 mo - 4 accompanied by a parent in the water. A brief list of skills taught in this class include: 

Skills taught to parents:

  • Support and holding techniques and when to use them
  • How to help children learn and practice skills appropriate for their age and ability level
  • Basic water safety information and rescue skills

Skills taught to children

  • Increase comfort in the water
  • How to enter and exit the water in a safe manner
