  • PWMS: 6th Grade Math Masters Club

    Math Masters The excitement of elementary level Math Masters is back for 6th graders! The Math Masters mathematics competition program challenges 6th grade students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics. Students compete as individuals and on teams in eight rounds of competition held on Friday, March 7 at Bethany Lutheran College. A school bus will bring students to and back from the competition, parents or guardians will need to sign a permission slip. Students’ academic effort and achievement is recognized with plaques, medallions and ribbons in each competition element: Fact Drill, Individual Round and Team Competition. Students will compete in teams of 5. A total of 20 spots are available. Register TODAY to secure your spot.

    Piano + Drums Club Thanks to the Minnesota State Arts Board Grant this club will give students the opportunity to try these instruments to see if they would like to play them in the future.   • Prairie Winds: Robotics (non-competitive)

    ROBOTICS CLUB (NON-COMPETITIVE) This club will use VEX equipment, but is not a competition club. Emphasis will be on building and driving a robot using VEX parts.
