ACES School Age Child CareSave the date ... ACES summer registration opens on April 7, 2021 at 6:30am! ACES Before-School + After-School Child Care ACES Before-School + After-School care resumed on Tuesday, January 19th for families with a In-Person/Hybrid contract. Scheduled Non-School Days Registration for scheduled non-school days is open to all of our current ACES families! Families will have the option to sign up for all scheduled non-school days at the time of registration. Future scheduled non-school Days are: Mar 19, Mar 31, Apr 1. How to Register for Non-School Days Sign into your on-line ACES account (called Eleyo) at mankato.ce.eleyo.com. Once you are logged in and viewing your dashboard: 1) Click on your child's name under "Your Accounts" 2) Click on the blue “Register Non-School Days” button to begin the registration process. MAPS Emergency Child Care & ACES Wraparound Child CareStarting Tuesday, March 31, child care options will change. Families that need child care per employment guidelines provided by the State of Minnesota will have the option to sign their child(ren) up for MAPS Emergency Care and ACES; both will be held at Franklin and Monroe Elementary schools. Care is available for children grades K-5. MAPS Emergency Care (7:30am-3:30pm) MAPS Emergency Care will continue to operate from 7:30am-3:30pm at Monroe and Franklin Elementaries. MAPS Emergency Care is free for families that qualify. Families that need only MAPS Emergency Care will not be charged and will be eligible for transportation if needed. MAPS Emergency Care + ACES Wraparound Care (6:30am-6:00pm) ACES will be providing wraparound care outside of MAPS Emergency Care hours. ACES Wraparound Care will operate from 6:30am-7:30am and 3:30pm-6:00pm. Families that utilize ACES Wraparound Care will be charged a flat rate of $18 per child, per day. Families will be responsible for transportation to and from ACES. All families will be required to complete a new registration for MAPS Emergency Care and ACES Wraparound Care through Eleyo, an online registration system. Families who have already received care from either program, will be contacted directly yet this week. Once registration is complete and approved, all families will receive notification from the ACES Office. At that time, the ACES Office will let families know when their care date can begin. MAPS Preschool-Voluntary Pre Kindergarten- KennedyVoluntary pre-kindergarten was established by Governor Dayton and the 2016 Minnesota Legislature for the purpose of preparing children for success as they enter kindergarten the following year. Mankato Area Public Schools was granted funding for the Kennedy Elementary Preschool site. To be eligible for this free preschool program you must reside within Kennedy or Washington Elementary boundaries and your child cannot be age eligible to attend kindergarten. Contracts will not be accepted if these guidelines are not met. Transportation is available within those boundaries. Registration is processed through the Mankato Area Public Schools- Early Learning Department.
