  • DMMS: 6th Grade Math Masters Club

    Math Masters The excitement of elementary level Math Masters is back for 6th graders! The Math Masters mathematics competition program challenges 6th grade students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics. Students compete as individuals and on teams in eight rounds of competition held on Friday, March 7 at Bethany Lutheran College. A school bus will bring students to and back from the competition, parents or guardians will need to sign a permission slip. Students’ academic effort and achievement is recognized with plaques, medallions and ribbons in each competition element: Fact Drill, Individual Round and Team Competition. Students will compete in teams of 5. A total of 20 spots are available. Register TODAY to secure your spot.

  • DMMS: Game Club

    Game Club A new style to accommodate more club members! Our After School Game Clubs have knowledgeable mentors on hand to teach games and help with questions. D&D games will be dictated by how many students are willing to train to be a Game Master, go here to see registration to become a D&D Game Master. Game Master graduates will lead players, if D&D is your priority please indicate in your registration that your 1st choice is to play at a D&D table. As we do not yet know how many GMs will be available there can be no promise that you will exclusively play D&D. (first come first serve for these tables) There will be many other tabletop games and card games available to play either way! About Middle School After School Clubs: Each club meets only 1 day per week to accommodate more students. Students are welcome to register for multiple clubs, but you may only attend the club on the day(s) you are registered. Each club has limited enrollment, so register EARLY if you intend to participate. Club ends at 5:00 PM and students must be picked up promptly. From 3:25 - 3:45 pm, students will be in the cafeteria having a snack, visiting with friends, and unwinding from the school day. Clubs begin at 3:45 pm and end at 5:00 pm. Site leaders will assure students are directed to the right location for their club or have proper supervision and age appropriate activities until picked up. All students participating in the Middle School After School program are expected to adhere to the same rules of conduct as during the school day. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated, and failure to comply may result in loss of access to after-school activities.
