Math Masters The excitement of elementary level Math Masters is back for 6th graders! The Math Masters mathematics competition program challenges 6th grade students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics. Students compete as individuals and on teams in eight rounds of competition held on Friday, March 6 at Bethany Lutheran College. A school bus will bring students to and back from the competition, parents or guardians will need to sign a permission slip. Students’ academic effort and achievement is recognized with plaques, medallions and ribbons in each competition element: Fact Drill, Individual Round and Team Competition. Students will compete in teams of 5. A total of 16 spots are available. Register TODAY to secure your spot. Weights + Games Whether you’re involved in athletics or not, join us in the Fitness Center to safely learn about using all of the fitness equipment. After a few rounds in the Fitness Center, there will be game time for you and your friends! Human Battleship, Ultimate Frisbee, and Leg Tag are all on tap. Want to be the star of the show? Have fun and try something new in Guitar Club! Learn basic chords, strumming, and tuning, as well as play games and practice music theory. Acoustic guitars and all supplies are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own if you wish. No electric guitars at this time.
