    DUNGEONS & DRAGONS CLUB Dungeons & Dragons Club is a welcoming space where new and experienced players can learn the game in a fun and supportive environment. No experience needed—just bring your imagination! We’ll guide you through character creation, rules, and epic adventures.     Knowledge Bowl The excitement of elementary level Knowledge Bowl is back for 6th graders! Knowledge Bowl is an event where teams of students at the elementary (grades 5–6), junior high (grades 6-9), and high school (grades 9–12) levels compete by answering questions in a variety of academic areas. Teams of students take part in one written and 3–4 oral rounds of competition in this interdisciplinary event requiring quick recall and team work. Questions are taken from the standard curriculum for the grades. Elementary teams consist of six students and there will be a maximum of 18 spots available. Teams will participate in multiple invitationals and a regional event which take place during the school day. A school bus will bring students to and from the competition and school. Parents or guardians will need to sign a permission slip which will be sent home closer to competition dates. All competitions will take place at Fitzgerald Middle School in Mankato. Competition Dates: October 9, October 23, November 6, and November 18. Times of the competitions will be shared at a later date. REFUNDS If you wish to withdraw your registration from a club, you must do so a MINIMUM of 4 business days prior to the start date of the club. Refunds will not be granted fewer than 4 days prior to the start date of the club and after the club has started. If space allows, you will be allowed to join a club after the start date, but the cost will not be pro-rated. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE Greater Mankato Area United Way Connecting Kids Fee discounts are available particularly for those who qualify for FREE or REDUCED lunch.
