Knowledge Bowl The excitement of elementary level Knowledge Bowl is back for 6th graders! Knowledge Bowl is an event where teams of students at the elementary (grades 5–6), junior high (grades 6-9), and high school (grades 9–12) levels compete by answering questions in a variety of academic areas. Teams of students take part in one written and 3–4 oral rounds of competition in this interdisciplinary event requiring quick recall and team work. Questions are taken from the standard curriculum for the grades. Elementary teams consist of six students and there will be a maximum of 18 spots available. Teams will participate in multiple invitationals and a regional event which take place during the school day. A school bus will bring students to and from the competition and school. Parents or guardians will need to sign a permission slip which will be sent home closer to competition dates. All competitions will take place at Fitzgerald Middle School in Mankato. Weights + Games Whether you’re involved in athletics or not, join us in the Fitness Center to safely learn about using all of the fitness equipment. After a few rounds in the Fitness Center, there will be game time for you and your friends! Human Battleship, Ultimate Frisbee, and Leg Tag are all on tap.
